MathMaker : Mind Challenge Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. About this policy

MathMaker : Mind Challenge is a math quiz game for iOS and Android made by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the MathMaker : Mind Challenge app and to the math-maker.com website.

2. Information we collect

  • Game data. Your levels and scores (Sigma), statistics, achievements and badges, settings (language, vibration), in-game resources (Epsilon, lives, power-ups) and unlocked content are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and there is no MathMaker : Mind Challenge account.
  • Player identity. The game uses Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) only for leaderboards and to show your player name. We never receive your email address, password or contacts. The scores you submit are shown to other players on the leaderboards, which are run by Apple and Google.
  • Purchases. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Our purchase provider RevenueCat receives a random app user identifier, the product, the date and the transaction identifier so that your items can be delivered and permanent unlocks restored. We never receive your card or bank details.
  • Advertising data. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address and ad interactions. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads are personalised only with your consent.
  • Diagnostics and usage. Crash reports and basic device information (model, OS version, app version) are collected through Firebase Crashlytics, and gameplay events (for example level completed or ad watched) through Firebase Analytics, to fix bugs and balance the game. They are not linked to your name or to an account.
  • App integrity. Firebase App Check uses Apple App Attest and Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests to our update service come from a genuine copy of the app.

3. How we use information

To run the game and keep your progress on your device, to deliver and restore purchases, to show ads (and remove them if you buy Remove Ads), to run the leaderboards, to prevent abuse, and to find bugs and improve the game. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for marketing.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) applies, we process data to perform our agreement with you (running the game and your purchases), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, crash reporting and improving the game) and, for personalised advertising and tracking, on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Your advertising choices

  • On iOS, the game asks for permission before any tracking (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this later in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Where required, a consent form lets you choose how ads are personalised. You can reopen it at any time from Settings › Privacy Settings in the game.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.
  • The Remove Ads purchase turns off banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available as an optional choice.

6. Third-party services

We rely on the following providers, each with its own privacy policy: Apple (Game Center, App Store), Google (Google Play Games, Google Play), Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Cloud Functions), Google AdMob (advertising) and RevenueCat (in-app purchase management).

7. Where data is stored

Your game data stays on your device. Diagnostic, analytics, advertising and purchase data is processed by the providers above, mainly on servers in the United States. They use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, and transfers outside your country rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Data retention

Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the game. Crash and analytics data are kept for the periods set by Firebase (typically up to 90 days for crash reports and up to 14 months for analytics). Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for as long as they are needed to restore purchases or as the law requires.

9. Your rights and deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes all game data stored on your device; we do not keep a copy of it.

You can also ask us to access, export or delete the other data described above, or object to certain processing: email contact@math-maker.com and mention that you play MathMaker : Mind Challenge. We will handle your request, and ask our providers (such as RevenueCat) to do the same, within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

MathMaker : Mind Challenge is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will appear in the game and on our website with a new “Last updated” date.

12. Contact

Questions about privacy? Email us at contact@math-maker.com.

13. Website (math-maker.com)

The website needs no account. Your language, sound setting, best score in the browser demo and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub processes your IP address to deliver the pages and keep them secure (GitHub Privacy Statement).

  • Google Analytics 4. Only if you accept the cookie banner, the website loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand how the site is used: pages and sections viewed, clicks on store badges and links, use of the browser demo (for example rounds started and scores), language and sound settings, page performance (Core Web Vitals), and technical data such as browser, device type, referring site and approximate location. We do not send your name, email address or any other directly identifying information, and Google's advertising features (Google signals, ad personalisation) are turned off.
  • Cookies. With your consent Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga (tells visitors apart) and _ga_* (keeps the session), each for up to 2 years. Without your consent no Google script is loaded, no request is sent to Google and no cookie is set.
  • Consent and withdrawal. You choose “Accept” or “Reject” on the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page; when you withdraw your consent, measurement stops and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • IP address and location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses: the IP address is used only briefly to derive an approximate location (country, region, city) and is then discarded. Google processes the data, including on servers in the United States, under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
  • Retention. Analytics data is kept for 14 months (the data retention setting of our Google Analytics property) and then deleted automatically.
  • For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
